Lincoln Log Problem

Has anyone heard of Lincoln logs with more then 4 notches? Becuase I need some. I am trying to make a barn for my model horses, and it would be a lot easier if I had some logs with 6 notches..... Please comment! Thank you!

Hi! Sorry that I have not posted in a really long time. I have had a cold for a long time, and before that William had a cold, then before that we went to a camperree. So owe have been rather busy. So right no w I am sitting in my room curled under the blankets, keeping my chest worm with my laptop by sitting in a funky angle, and typing and..... You know the story. Oh, and breathing in Mommy's favorite smell of Vicks. (we are using the vaporizer) Grace is at the foot of the bed looking really cute, and right now I am wondering which movie I want to watch next. Or, if I just want to take a nap, or If I want to read a book. I don't know, maybe I will read a book.

Finally!

Finally, an unscheduled Sabbath! A Sabbath where we could go biking, or just stay in bed all day. We have been needing this. I have just recently (last night, actually) installed Microsoft Office. It is pretty cool, partly because it automatically comes with Windows Media player, so I do not have to open Parrallels when I want to listen to the Prophecy Code.

Idea For Another Blog

My brother William loves to work with programming a computer. And he starts talking about I,and then I get interested too. Well, we decided that we would make a new blog just for computer programming so that we can share some little projects we have done, learn by teaching, and keep track of what we have learned. If you like computer programming, whether it be HTML, CSS, or Perl, we will, at some time or another, have what you are looking for. And, if we are lucky, Daddy will come help! Awesome! Well, come visit once we have made it!

Photoshop Elements

Recently I installed Photoshop Elements on my Macbook. It is awsome! I have a lot of fun playing around with photos that I take with my Macbook. You can turn a picture into a watercolor, or you can reverse the colors. It is very, very cool!

9/11 All Over Again

Today, you know, is September 11. We have been watching the coverage that had been shown on that day. It was even worse than I imagined. I was 7 at that time, and while I was horrified, I did not understand it very well. But now I have seen what it did, to airports, to museums, to security in general! Now I can connect what they said, to what actually happened, and it was even worse then I knew. There is something nice about today, though. I don't think that we will have much school today!

Sleepover

The night before last night, I had my first sleepover with my best friend, Kelly. The only way it could of been better, is if it lasted a little longer. We saw one movie (Sumo of the Oprea, Veggie Tales), played a gazillion games, went and picked up Daddy at the Metro Station at nine-something o'clock. During that, William and I taught her about fractuls. We talked about three. One is (as I call it) "William's Crosses", "Somebody-ski's Carpet" (Daddy, if you remember what his name was, plaese let me know!) and "The Dragon Curve". We showed her two pictures of fractuals, one was "William's Crosses" and the other was on the cover of a book, "The Dragon Curve". I should show you a picture of both sometime. We played "Careers", "Formula 1", "Dobule Mikado", and "Seafearers of Catan". We always were wodering whether it was time to go check if she could stay longer, but we did not have too! I just had a lot of fun. I want to have another one some time soon!

Not That Fair

My best friend was grounded for something she did not do, so I can't play with her today OR tomorrow! And I was hoping she could have a sleepover or even just come over for a little while. This is very sad.

Yesterday

Yesterday was Sabbath, and I had a lot of fun. William and I listened to the Prophecy Code while I painted. Then the Greenes came over. We ate supper which was home-made pizza! (very good) Then we sang several hymns. It was funny, we never sang any that weren't in the 300's. Then we played a very strange game of Settlers of Catan. The goal was to build a city on one of the golds that were near the end of the board. Also, you could put multiple roads on the same line. Mrs. Greene was getting tired so we rushed through it, but I would like to play it that way again. I wonder what will happen today!
